Unusual Quality
Sherwood Newcastle's SD-860 and SD-871 are our first universal
DVD players with DVD-A and SACD capabilities. The SD-871 shines
with Faroudja DCDI processing, HDMI output including 720p and 1080i
"upscaled" video, 216 MHz video DAC's, dual Component video output
with RCA and BNC connectors, IEEE-1394 Firewire audio output and
RS-232C control.
The SD-860 includes support for progressive scan
playback, Pure Audio mode that turns off all video processing,
and Pure Black mode that allows the user to choose between black
levels of 7.5 or 0 IRE.
